ISEP was present at PorTI 2007, a portuguese information technologies fair and demonstration organized by the Portuguese Ministry of Economy and Innovation and included in the program of the portuguese presidency of the Eurpean Union in 2007.

ISEP particiapation with the LSA - Autonomous Systems Laboratory was integrated in a high technology robotics demosntration organized by the Portuguese Robotics Society (SPR).

The initiative counted with the presence of high portuguese individualities namely with the portuguese Prime Minister.

With a vast display of robots and techologies, our participation atracted large attention by both institutional representatives, press and general public.

Present were autonomous surface vehiccles ROAZ and ROAZ II, autonomous aerial vehicles FALCOS with interactive technology demonstrations and in particular with and on line demonstration of fire detection capability by the aerial robot. The ISePorto robotic football team was also present.
