LSA has a strong committement on education, science and technology dissemination and related activities. As a research lab in an academic environment it fosters undergraduate research, supports multiple courses in the ISEP engineering course offering and academic activities. It promotes seminars and advanced courses in autonomous ystems and related areas.

It has close relationship with the Electrical Enginnering with Specialization in Autonomous Systems Master of Science Course offered by ISEP.

On the technology dissemination area, it promotes multiple events, conferences and activities to raise the scientific awareness in the general public and in the young student public (highschool and earlier stages).

It has a on-going activity in the use of robotics as learning medium in the pre-university teaching levels. The technologic dissemination project Aprender com Robótica (Learn with robotics) addresses the development and use of microrobots in the highschool education.
