Past research projects and R&D activity: KOS - Kit Operações SubaquáticasThis project under the lead of APDL (Douro and Leixões Harbour Authority) and in partership with LSA/ISEP and USTL/FEUP (Underwater Systems and Technology Lab for Faculty of Engineering Porto Universisty) aims to develop underwater robotic systems for inspection and operation in structured harbour environments.
Project PISCIS research and development subcontractUnder a research subcontract, LSA provided several solutions in the context of project PISCIS leaded by APDL and in partnership with USTL/FEUP for the development of multiple underwater robotic systems for monitoring and inspection tasks. LSA expertise in autonomous surface vehicles and embedded computer systems and electronics was incorporated in the project development.
